The leading furniture & mattress retailer in Central IL is immediately hiring (1) Furniture & Mattress professional at our Decatur IL location! The Furniture & Mattress Professional is responsible for providing an exceptional shopping experience to all of our valued guests by offering superior customer service and expert knowledge of our vast product offerings. In order to be successful in this role, candidates must have prior demonstrated retail sales/customer service experience or ability, must be highly motivated and disciplined, possess excellent communication skills, and have a genuine desire to help others.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

· High School diploma or equivalent.

· Bedding & Mattress Professionals must have a minimum of 1yr proven retail sales experience or sales-related/customer service experience.

· Computer proficiency, experience with Point of Sale Systems and Microsoft Word and Excel.

· Cheerful, friendly, professional demeanor.

· Ability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

· Strong organizational skills, strong work ethic and self disciplined.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· High energy positive attitude and a motivated self-starter.

· Desire to succeed and advance.

· Ability to determine wants and needs of the customer during their visit.

· Team player who does their best for customers & coworkers

· Demonstrate effective closing skills.

· Attention to detail and accurately enter information in the point-of-sale system.

· Handle customer purchase paperwork and tracking orders.

· Communicate with customers after the sale.

· Other duties as assigned, essential or otherwise
